TERRIFIC TOOWOOMBA TENPIN TOURNAMENT!
The annual Adult and Youth State Bowling Championships will be held over the coming weekend at Toowoomba's Sunset Superbowl. Starting on the evening of Friday May 4th with the inaugural Terrific Toowoomba Tenpin Tournament.
This should be a fun filled night with some of Toowoomba's most popular media outlets being paired with 'pro' bowlers with many of the states top ranked players, including members of the reigning interstate teams challenge Champions who will join the teams and give tips to his or her teammates during this light hearted tiurnament.
From Saturday morning, the 5th, things get serious with qualifying squads in several divisions and culminating in the Masters (elite) finals for Youth, Restricted, Adult and Senior throughout the weekend.
I n conjunction with the championships, the sport's State Association, TBAQ, will conduct a gala awards and Hall of Fame ceremony. This years function will be integrated with a civic reception hosted by Toowoomba Mayor Paul Antonio in the Toowoomba Council's newly opened function facility, The Annexe.
