A highlight of his many concerts over the years has always been when Damien performs solo – just him and a guitar or piano. It’s in those very special moments the audiences get to truly feel the pure emotion of Damien’s angelic voice.
In his ‘most intimate’ tour to date – Damien will perform in solo mode, a select number of dates around Australia. Audiences will get a chance to hear favourites from Damien’s eight albums; Irish classics; and songs like ‘Crying’, ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘Night of my Life’ are sure to make the set-list. They’ll also get to hear sneak previews of new compositions and songs he’s written with other artists as well as lost treasures and a few new surprises.
It’s been 11 years since Damien caught the nation’s attention by performing on Australian Idol. Since then he has released 8 albums, 2 novels and has toured extensively; performing his own compositions and of course, his much-loved versions of classic songs.
Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy a truly special evening with an incredible artist and as most people say, hear the voice of an angel.
‘Performing solo has always been a favourite of mine as it’s how I started out. I get to chat, change up the set, bounce off the energy of the audience and really get in to the raw emotion of the songs’ says Damien.
